How Ben and Jenny Got Engaged

One of the ways Jenny and Ben got to know each other was by going to the Idaho Falls Temple each weekend with friends or just with each other. In February, Jenny and Ben went to the newly dedicated Rexburg Temple. Jenny had finished and was looking for Ben, but he was nowhere to be found. Instead, Jenny was given a note from Ben by a lady at the front desk. That note held a clue, in the form of a poem, which led her to a place in the nearby Hinckley Building on campus where a similar note was hidden. That clue led her to another clue, which led her to another clue - all of them in poetic form - until Jenny finally arrived at Ben's apartment. There were a dozen roses, a note from Ben, and a set of car keys. Her instructions were to meet him at the park where they had ridden a tandem bike together on their first date. She met him there, where he expressed his love for her and knelt on one knee to ask her to be his wife. She said yes! Jenny found out later that the "scavenger hunt" was planned and executed by Ben and his two friends, Luke and Bobbie, who got the entire thing - even the proposal - on video.
